Why You Should Vote NO on Measure 64
- This is the fourth time Bill Sizemore has tried to pass this unclear, unfair, and unnecessary measure. Measure 64 eliminates the ability of public employees to make voluntary payroll deductions to the organizations of their choice—taking away a right that all other employees in Oregon have.
- Measure 64 silences the voice of working people and front line workers like police officers, firefighters, teachers and nurses while does nothing to limit the power of corporate special interests.
- Among other unintended consequences, Measure 64 could lead to a loss in funding—or stiff penalties—for Oregon charities.
